Carley Hall
— by Kelly Skinner-Meyers
Carley Hall had a very busy June, highlighted by celebrating my mom’s 90th birthday bash with friends, family, and the Carley community. We also hosted rentals for a local family reunion and several other celebrations.
July has been quiet so far, with many people away on holiday. The farm fields are planted, the hay is growing, and my gardens are bountiful with lavender, which the honeybees are loving.
Carley Hall looks beautiful this season and has plenty of openings for any special occasions you may wish to celebrate. Please contact the Oro-Medonte Township at jknechtel@oro-medonte.ca to book your rental.
The summer season is short, and we must make the most of it. I am currently spending time with my six-year-old grandson, going on many local adventures. Right in our area, we can visit the Elmvale Zoo, Horseshoe Resort, or Hewitt’s farm for kids’ activities and treats. We also enjoy swimming at Bass Lake or Bayview Memorial Park on Lake Simcoe, biking on the trails, and visiting the many parks in Oro-Medonte. When you live here, you don’t have to go far to have fun!
Have a wonderful summer everyone!
