Happy Thanksgiving

It’s hard to believe it’s October already…this year has flown by! Only one more issue this year, and then it’s 2026…and the 20^th anniversary of Steve and I taking over this local community publication!

Yes, 2026 is our 20^th anniversary and we couldn’t be more excited! We are planning and thinking of lots of special events and activities and contests and throw backs, to mark the occasion…and we hope to be out and about and see a lot of you folks out there with us, celebrating and enjoying our beautiful communities. We hope you will come up and say hi, when you do see us. We love meeting our readers and advertisers, out there in the world.

This issue is, as always, chockablock with lots of great community information, updates, and events, and we hope you read and savour every one of them. And please, decide to go out to some of the great events we are promoting: the Bay Studio Tour and Images Studio Tour are free, and it’s wonderful to support an artist and see their work in these wonderful tours.

Or, go check out Doghouse Orchestra at Braestone Farm and support Mariposa House Hospice. The band is fantastic, I have seen them several times, and of course the venue is stunning.

Don’t forget to get your tickets to Jesus Christ Superstar…it will be an incredible show, guaranteed. I already have mine!

Anna has been involved with this event for several years, but this year with some changes, North Simcoe Life is a presenting sponsor, and thrilled to be so. So, get your nominations in, and then come out to the awards night November 26 to see who won!

Autumn is a wonderful time here in North Simcoe; so much to see and do, and so much beauty all around us. Get out and enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
