Local Events!

Summer continues with a myriad of community events, many outdoors, many repeating, and some one-offs. Enjoy free weekly Sunday evening band concerts in Orillia’s Rotary Aquatheatre, as well as free Movies in the Park on selected Friday nights, and free Lakeside Live music on some Saturdays. The Port of Orillia has its free giant Waterfront Festival in August, while Coldwater’s free Steampunk Festival and Faerie Days are alive and well. The Orillia Opera House has wonderful summer theatre for all ages, including Duck Soup’s production of Disney’s Newsies, and the Leacock Museum has tours and special events all summer long.
