Happy Summer, everyone!  I hope you have been able to take advantage of this lovely weather we have been having and have been able to get out and take in some of the festivities in and around our local communities and great province or country.

This past spring the Eady Community Hall held three Fiddle Circles “Jams” for any fiddlers (both new to the fiddling world as well as those who have years of experience) along with other musicians (guitarists, singers, mandolin players, spoon players, etc.) who wanted to come out and “jam” with other musicians for a few hours on a Wednesday afternoon.  These fiddle circles were lots of fun and will resume again this fall.  Three dates have been currently scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, Wednesday, October 7, and Wednesday, November 4 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Eady Hall.  If you do not play an instrument but would just like to come and listen, you are also invited to come out and join us!  Admission for both musicians and listeners is $5 per person, with proceeds going towards the upkeep of the Eady Hall.  So, if you’re looking to “jam” with a group, or hear some great fiddle music and just want a relaxing afternoon….come out and join us at the Eady Community Hall! 

While our temperatures outside are blistering hot these days, one does not want to think about the cold and stormy weather ahead. However, it is only a few months until winter…and Christmas!  So, mark your calendars now for the Eady Community Hall Old Time Christmas Concert which will be held on Saturday, December 12 at 7 p.m.  We are always looking for skits, musical performances, dance acts, singing acts, etc., of both children and adults, so put your thinking cap on now and start thinking about what you or your family could possibly do!  More details later in the fall!
