Anyone is welcome to join in on any of the following events. Please bring drinking water on all hikes; hiking boots and poles are recommended.
The Oro-Medonte club does not hike during the summer but will start up again in the fall.

Copeland Forest
Sunday, September 7
⇒MODERATE ⇒ 2 hours
1:30 pm Meet at Copeland P4 parking area on Oro-Medonte Line 5 about 2 km north of Horseshoe Valley Rd. (across the road from #3675) The hike will be followed by a corn and wiener roast at 4 pm at 5 Bunker Place, Oro-Medonte. Bring a lawn chair and $7.

Wilkins Walk
Sunday, September 14
⇒EASY ⇒ 2 hours
1:30 pm Meet at the trailhead on Walnut Crescent (Big Bay Point Rd to Pine Drive to Walnut Cres). Some hills; trail meanders along Hewitt Creek to Lake Simcoe. Poles are suggested.

Georgian Islands National Park (Beausoleil Island Bay)
Monday, September 22
⇒MODERATE ⇒ 4 km
Hike on trails at the north end of the island; some rocky and hilly terrain; beautiful views; there will be a fee for the water taxi and the National Park; Bring lunch and water; Spaces are limited.

CISM Trail in Base Borden

1:30 pm. Meet at the parking lot in Base Borden to hike. Take Hwy 90 to Angus, drive through Angus and take Cambrai Road to Base Borden. Parking lot is on the left.
