Arts Orillia is thrilled to announce Showcase 2025: Pulling Back the Curtains, an extraordinary evening celebrating the transformative power of the arts and their impact on the youth of Orillia. This signature fundraising event will take place on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the historic Orillia Opera House.
Event Highlights:
- Behind-the-Scenes Access: Guests will experience an exclusive backstage tour, offering a rare glimpse behind the curtains of the Orillia Opera House.
- Inspiring Performances: Featuring Orillia’s own celebrated artist, Bonnie Black, and talented Twin Lakes Co-op students, the evening will showcase the real-world impact of Arts Orillia’s youth programs.
- Networking and Community Engagement: An elegant evening to connect with community members, leaders, and supporters who share a commitment to empowering the next generation through the arts.
Why It Matters:
Arts Orillia is dedicated to providing dynamic and inclusive arts programs that enrich the lives of local youth, particularly those facing barriers. In 2024, Arts Orillia expanded its reach by introducing digital arts initiatives, social justice theatre projects, summer arts camps, and workshops in partnership with local schools. Funds raised at Showcase 2025 will support these vital programs, empowering young people to ignite their creativity, build confidence, and thrive academically and personally.

Location: Orillia Opera House, 20 Mississaga St W, Orillia, ON
Tickets: $150 per person | $1,200 for a table of 8 (includes a $75 charitable tax receipt per ticket)
