Summer mode has been activated in Warminster!
It has been so exciting to see all the action at the newly completed XBHL facility. All ages have been playing, and it is such a blessing to the community. The indoor space is so luxurious, complete with mini-snack bar.
There has been lots going on in the neighborhood as of late. Here is a brief recap of events:
- Oro-Medonte Fire and Emergency Services hosted their annual Pancake Breakfast and Open House for the community.
- Warminster Elementary School hosted its annual Spring Vendor Market. It was an incredible assortment of talented vendors and artisans coming together to provide a one-stop shop in time for Mother’s Day.
- The Jr. Boys and Girls Basketball teams wrapped up their season, sporting their new jerseys that were purchased with last year’s fundraised dollars.
- School Council hosted a Family Night at the school in April. Everyone loved learning from the team at Scales Nature Park. It was sssssso much fun!
Warminster Soccer is up and running! This is such a fun, community program that runs every Wednesday night through the late spring and into summer. This league runs 100% on volunteers. We are thankful for the administration team and all the coaches who make this possible for our community.
Everyone has been spring clearing, and the town is hosting their annual Garage Sale happening on the June 13/14 weekend. Explore both sides of the highway as many homes will be participating in this fun town-wide weekend of bargains.
School Council is working on the end-of-the-year Community Fun Fair happening on June 4, 2026. June 5th is the PA Day following the event. Mark this date on your calendars. At this time, if any community members or small businesses have any donations for the Silent Auction, we would greatly appreciate it. Grade 8s continue their fundraising initiatives to support their graduation trip! Follow along on Facebook through What’s Up Warminster to see ways you can help!
In more school news, we will be extending some retirement wishes to staff in our next issue. So, stay tuned for that. Bring on the summer!
