Annual Lions’ Duck Race
May 30
This popular annual event is always huge hit – come early for better parking. The open-air vendor market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Town Garage Sale
June 6, starting at 8 a.m.
Coldwater becomes a thrifter’s paradise. The town garage sale includes individual garage sales as well as larger ones at the churches and other charitable institutions. There’s usually food too!
Coldwater & Area Studio Tour
June 20 and 21
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
at various locations throughout Coldwater.

The Coldwater Heritage Mill will kick off the season on Saturday, May 30, Duck Race Day! There will also be a Lucky Duck auction.

The Coldwater Legion has a very active calendar which you can see at www.coldwaterlegion.com. Did you know that you can join the Legion for free during 2026? Contact them for more information. Also, if you haven’t played Trivia or Singo Bingo at the Legion, you are missing out! Please respect their parking. It is available only to members and guests, not the general public. A public lot is about 30 m away.
There are a number of community recreation programs available through Severn Township. Please check out https://www.severn.ca/play-and-explore/ for information. There are children’s programs as well as programs for seniors. Have a look!
The Library is having its usual lineup of amazing Canadian authors. If you’re sourcing your food and your consumer products from Canada, consider reading books by Canadians. They tell our stories!

The library welcomes Leacock Award winner Terry Fallis with his book “Marionette”.
David Dupuis

David Dupuis of Penetanguishene will tell us about his fantasy and historical books.
Robert Rotenberg
May 23, 1p.m.
Robert Rotenberg, international bestseller and Severn Library’s most circulated author for two years running, will return to the Library.
