Oro-Medonte Ganaraska Hiking Club
Anyone is welcome to join in on any of the following events. Please bring drinking water on all hikes; hiking boots and poles are recommended.
The Oro-Medonte club does not hike during the summer but will start up again in the fall. Here are our September dates.

Copeland Forest
Sunday, September 8
⇒MODERATE ⇒ 2 hours
1:30 pm Meet in the P2 parking lot on Ingram Road just east of Line 4.
The hike will be followed by a corn and weiner roast at 4 pm at 5 Bunker Place, Oro-Medonte. Bring a lawn chair and $7.
Must register with Wayne 705-718-0143 or Holly 705-345-7913 no later than 6 pm on Sat Sept 7.
Georgian Islands National Park (Beausoleil Island Bay)
Monday, September 16
⇒MODERATE ⇒ 4km/7km option
Hike on trails at the north end of the island; some rocky and hilly terrain; beautiful views; there will be a fee for the water taxi and the National Park; Bring lunch and water; Spaces are limited.
Must register with Kim 705-721-0502 or Sue 705-722-0395 with a deposit no later than Monday September 9.
Carly Patterson Memorial Trail
Sunday, September 22
⇒EASY ⇒ 2 hours
1:30 pm Meet at 1724 Mosley Street (park west side near the back). Walk some quiet side streets and part of the beach. A stop at Timmys or for ice cream could be arranged.
