Carley Hall Updates

— by  Kelly Skinner-Meyer

What a glorious start to the fall we have had! The sun is shining and the leaves have just started to change. We live in such a wonderful area in Oro-Medonte, with maple trees abounding and rolling hills forming a patchwork quilt of colour.

The Carley Hall volunteers are busy planning our Christmas Craft Sale on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 pm. We will have plenty of unique local crafters and a hot lunch available to purchase. Please mark your calendars and visit us at the Carley Community Hall (396 Warminster Side Road, Oro-Medonte).

We had a few summer rentals at the hall and have plenty of availability for the fall and winter. Please let us help you with your next special occasion or event. For more information, contact us at carleycommunityhall.com.

Fall is my favorite season, with its sunshine and crisp autumnal air. It is a time of Thanksgiving, when we reflect on all our blessings, family, and friends, gathering around the table with stories, laughter, and food. An Irish proverb reminds me of this: “Laughter is brightest where food is best.” May your stories flow, your laughter be bright, your food be plentiful, and your waistband be stretchy!

See you at our craft sale in November.
